How to Set Up Your EZ-SET Outdoor Digital Timer

Simple steps to program your outdoor EZ timer

Before you Begin

Plug in your timer and allow it to charge for 30 minutes before programming.

Basic Setup

Step 1: Set the Current Time

  • Use the up (↑) and down (↓) arrows to adjust the current time

Alternatively: Choose a Preset Option

  • Press one or more preset buttons that match your needs

  • The button will light up when activated (timer must be plugged in)

  • If the presets work for you, setup is complete!

Step 3: Custom Programming (Optional)

To set custom on/off times:

  1. Hold "Custom ON" and use arrows to set the ON time

  2. Hold "Custom OFF" and use arrows to use arrows to set the OFF time

  3. Tap (don't hold) both "Custom ON" and "Custom OFF" buttons to activate

Buttons will turn blue when your custom program is active.

Additional Features

  • Countdown Timer

    • Press "CTD"

    • Use arrows to set countdown (1 minute to 24 hours)

    • LCD will flash "CTD" when countdown is active

  • Manual Override

    • Press "On/Off" to bypass current settings

    • Timer will resume normal programming at next scheduled cycle

Power Failure Information

During a power outage:

  • Timer continues operating on battery backup

  • Programming resumes when power returns

  • If power outage exceeds battery life, reprogram using steps 1-3
