Who qualifies

You may qualify if you are:

  • A professional installer purchasing for resale

  • Have another valid exemption

Documents you will need

To get set up with a tax exemption, PST Exemption, or Resellers permit in our system, you will need to provide proof of your tax-exempt status. This may include:

  • A reseller's permit

  • A provincial tax exemption number (HST, PST)

  • A tax exemption status card

How to request tax‑exempt status

  1. Prepare your documents:

Ensure you have proof of your tax exemption

  2. Submit your request:

Ask to speak to one of our team members, and send through your tax exemption documents

  3. Review timeline:

Our team will update your account details, and confirm when your account has been set up with a tax-exempt status

  4. Place orders:

Sign in with the approved account email. You must use the email associated with your customer account. If you use a different email, the PST exemption will not apply to your order. Tax will be removed on eligible items at checkout.

Ordering tips for pro installers

  • Always sign in using your approved account email before checkout.

  • Ensure the account and certificate business names match exactly.

  • Use ship‑to addresses covered by your exemption.
