What curtain lights are

  • Vertical “waterfall” like strands hung from a horizontal support, forming a curtain of lights. They’re perfect for facades, balconies, pergolas, storefronts, and walls. They’re also a great backdrop for events.

  • Built by hanging 5mm mini‑light strings from Curtain Power Chain adapters on a main wire or bar.

  • Any of BSL’s 5mm coaxial mini lights can be attached to the Curtain Lighting Power Chain.

Typical setup components

  • Curtain Lighting Power Chain (SKU: T-LINE-20P-B or T-LINE-20P-W): Each chain accommodates 20 ‘T’ light drops with 4-inch spacing. Power chains and lighted strings are end-to-end connectable. Each connector has an eye hole for easy installation with cable ties.

  • Adapters: One String Light Adapter will be needed at the end of the Curtain Lighting Power Chain to plug the entire system into a standard 120v outlet.

  • Drops: mini‑light strings in consistent spacing. Twinkle or Steady Curtain Lights are 7ft long with 20 LEDs per string, and are commonly used with the Curtain Lighting Power Chain. However, other 25ft mini lights can also be used if a longer curtain or other color options are desired.

  • Up to 120 7ft/ 20 LED mini light strands can be connected to one adapter & Curtain Lighting Power Chain, or up to 45 25ft/ 50 LED mini light strands can be connected to one adapter & Curtain Lighting Power Chain

  • Additional horizontal support: aircraft cable/wire rope, taut line, fascia bar, or balcony rail.

  • Additional mounting hardware: cable clutchers, heavy‑duty zip ties, or clips.

Installation Guide:

  • Attach your desired coaxial mini lights to the 'T' drops on the Curtain Lighting Power Chain.

  • Use a String Light Adapter to plug the system into a 120v outlet

  • Use a coaxial extension cable between the string light adapter and the start of the Curtain Lighting Power Chain if an extension cord is needed for the installation.

  • Hang the Curtain Lighting Power Chain using the loops at the top. Attach it to your surface, cable, or rail with clips or zip ties.

Where they shine

  • Event spaces, hospitality, and commercial facades needing soft motion and layering.

  • Residential balconies and pergolas for a gentle “waterfall” ambiance.
