Introduction

Bring vibrant color to your decorations with the Big Star Lights 36W RGBW LED Flood Light. This guide walks you through remote syncing, color settings, and DIY functions for the 2020 (V1) 36W Floodlight.

Syncing the Remote

  1. Power On the Light: Plug in your 36W flood light and turn it on.

  2. Sync the Remote:

    • Tap the "Off" button on the remote three times in quick succession.

    • The light should flash white, indicating the remote is now synced and ready.

Understanding Your Remote

  • Brightness/Speed Buttons:

    • Located at the top, these increase or decrease both brightness and (when in jump/fade mode) the speed of color changes.

  • Standard Color Buttons:

    • Quickly set the light to red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, or purple with one touch.

    • These are straightforward color presets.

  • Jump/Fade/Auto Modes:

    • Jump 3/7: Quickly cycles through 3 or 7 colors.

    • Fade 3/7: Gently fades between 3 or 7 colors.

    • Auto: Runs through all available jump and fade patterns for a constantly changing effect.

Using DIY Custom Colors

  • DIY Buttons:

    • There are five DIY slots. Select a DIY button, then adjust the color using the arrow buttons for red, green, and blue (+/-).

    • Experiment with the up/down arrows to add or subtract color, creating unique shades or even white.

  • DIY Jump:

    • Once your five custom colors are set, use the DIY Jump button to automatically cycle through your personalized selection.

Adjusting Color Transition Speed

  • While in Jump or Fade Modes:

    • Use the brightness up/down buttons to control how quickly the colors transition.

    • Increasing will speed up the changes; decreasing slows them down for a more relaxed effect.

Remote Control Range

  • The included remote works from up to 25 feet away, making it easy to adjust your lights from a distance.

Tips for Best Results

  • Take time to experiment with custom DIY colors to find the look you like best.

  • If a color doesn't look how you expect, try adjusting each color channel until you achieve your desired effect.

  • The flood light is ideal for both holiday decorating and year-round accent lighting.
