What’s in the box
Twinkly Pro Wi‑Fi Controller
AC power adapter
Optional splitter (sold separately) to turn one output into two and control more lights
Before you begin
Work with the controller unplugged from power while connecting cables.
Align the polarized connectors. They only fit one way. Do not force them.
Hand‑tighten collars to create a water‑tight seal for outdoor use.
Video Guide:
Step 1: Connect the light strings
Keep the controller unplugged.
If using a single strand:
Plug the strand into the controller’s Output port.
Push firmly, then tighten the collar until snug for a water‑tight fit.
If using the optional splitter:
Attach the splitter to the controller’s Output port.
Connect each light string to a splitter output.
For each connection, push firmly and tighten the collar.
Tip: Both input and output ports are polarized. Rotate the connector until the keyed pins align, then insert.
Step 2: Connect the power adapter
Attach the AC power adapter to the controller’s remaining power connection.
Align the polarized connector, push firmly, and tighten the collar to seal the connection.
Step 3: Turn on the controller
Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
If you are using a power strip, make sure it is switched on.
Your lights should power on. The controller is now ready for app setup.
Next: Set up in the Twinkly app
Open the Twinkly app on your mobile device.
Follow the in‑app steps to add a new device, connect the controller to Wi‑Fi, and map your lights.
Once added, you can apply effects, schedules, and other advanced features.
Waterproofing and outdoor use
Always tighten all collars to ensure a water‑tight seal.
Inspect connections periodically in outdoor environments to confirm seals are snug.
Using the optional splitter
The splitter allows one controller output to drive two light runs.
Connect the splitter to the Output port first, then attach each light string.
Match total load and lengths to Twinkly Pro specifications for best performance.
Quick troubleshooting
Lights do not turn on:
Confirm the outlet or power strip is on.
Reseat power and output connectors and re‑tighten collars.
Connector won’t insert:
Check polarization. Rotate and try again gently without forcing.
App cannot find the controller:
Ensure the controller is powered and within Wi‑Fi range.
Restart the app and power‑cycle the controller by unplugging and plugging it back in.
