Your guide to returns and return requests at Big Star Lights.

Before you start: Is your item eligible?

  • Condition: Items must be unused and in original packaging with all accessories.

  • Time window: Returns are accepted within 30 days of order fulfilment.

  • Exclusions: Final sale items, pre season order items, custom orders, and gift cards are not eligible for return.

  • Proof of purchase: An order number or email receipt is required to process a return.

  • Returned items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Please ensure you have read and understood our Return Policy before requesting a return.


How to Start a Return

Choose the option that’s easiest for you:

Option A: Online (fastest)

  • Start a NEW live chat on our website, and select 'start a return' from the menu

  • Complete the return request form: Enter your order number and the exact quantity and product type you wish to return.

  • Your return request will be picked up by one of our team members within one business day. All returns must be approved by a team member in writing

Option B: With customer support

  • Email customer support with your order number and the exact quantity and type of item(s) you’d like to return.

  • Your return request will be picked up by one of our team members within one business day. All returns must be approved by a team member in writing.


If your return is approved

  • We’ll confirm return eligibility and email you with the next steps. You'll be kept up to date throughout the process.

  • You'll need to pack and ship your item using the instructions provided.

  • Ensure you reference your name and order number with the return shipment. We may not be able to process a return shipment without this information.

  • Your approved return will be reimbursed with store credit unless otherwise specified.


Exchanges

  • Product can only be exchanged for store credit. Customers will be allocated store credit for the value they paid for the item, at which point the customer can make a secondary order for the desired item(s) using the store credit.

  • Follow the return requests steps above to request an exchange for store credit
